In accepting a booking with Lakeview Outdoor Adventures, LLC, the PARTICIPANT agrees to:

Release of Liability (Negligence): PARTICIPANT hereby releases, waives, and discharges Lakeview Outdoor Adventures, LLC, its owners, and its employees (the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability for any loss or damage, and any claim or demands on account of injury or death, whether caused by the negligence of the Released Parties or otherwise, while the PARTICIPANT is in or upon the property or equipment.

Indemnification for Damages & Fines: PARTICIPANT accepts full financial responsibility for all equipment. This includes the cost of professional repairs, replacement of gear, and any environmental or civil fines (e.g., CT DEEP abandoned vessel fines) resulting from the PARTICIPANT'S use. PARTICIPANT authorizes the charging of the credit card on file for these costs.

Mandatory Staff Compliance: PARTICIPANT agrees to follow all verbal and written instructions provided by Lakeview Outdoor Adventures staff. Safety is at the sole discretion of the staff. Any violation of safety protocols—including "limbs over the gunwale" while in motion or removal of PFDs—is grounds for immediate rental termination without refund.

Safe Boating Certificate (SBC) Prerequisite: PARTICIPANT warrants they possess a valid CT SBC (or reciprocal NASBLA-approved license). Operating a motorized vessel without this certificate on board is a violation of CT law; PARTICIPANT assumes all legal and financial liability for operating without proper certification.

Geographic & Operating Limits: PARTICIPANT agrees to stay within the designated boundaries. If a "Small Craft Advisory" or "Weather Recall" is issued by staff, PARTICIPANT must return to the dock immediately. Failure to do so may result in a $200/hour "Emergency Recovery Fee."
